This is another portrait completed in one sitting from a live model. I am finding that these "studies" are somewhat hit or miss in terms of capturing an actual likeness of the model. This one did actually result in more of a hit in terms of likeness. I was more excited by the mood it captured in this case. There is really very little time to get it all correct when working in this fashion. I believe that at some point in chasing all of these attempts it may become more natural to get it all correct in one painting. I plan to continue the chase until it does become a likely result.
